Bunker's "Parking" Brief
Giving you an almost 'bubble butt' appearance!
Well, here is my second of three reviews from the good people at 'Bunker Underwear' and this time it's the "Parking low-rise Brief", a rather interesting pair of briefs with a set of hidden jock straps in the back that effectively lifts your behind and gives you an almost 'bubble butt' appearance or as Bunker themselves state … the "Bunker Parking low-rise brief is made for the night, for the guy who wants to impress".
Bunker also state that they are; "A body hugging fit with internal rear plush lined straps that lift and support for athletic comfort with a contour front pouch that boosts the frontal profile."
Hmmmm, well, I 'sort' of agree!
Pulling these on they feel very soft, made from a "french eyelet mesh" which is a mix of 92% polyester and 8% spandex and a great colour, my sample for review is in Blue Ashes. Seriously they do feel very good, finished with a 2'' nylon elastic waistband that really does hark back to the old fashioned jockstraps of later years and then when they are fully in place you straight away feel those integrated 3/4'' plush lined straps huggin' your behind. Yep, Bunker haven't skimped on the straps at all, they really are "Plush" and surprisingly comfortable.
Always thought about jockstraps included in full back briefs and what they'd feel like, well guys … these feel great …. although I'm not too sure about them hanging out below the leg band … but then again I don't think there's anyway for them not too! And yes, I know there are other manufacturers that do 'butt' lifting briefs that include some kind of straps but these are actual "Jockstraps"!
I was really looking forward to wearing these, as I'm a big fan of wearing Jockstraps as everyday underwear and I thought to myself wow, it's the best of both worlds. However, I'm afraid as soon as I had them fully on I knew these were not gonna be that comfortable … there's just no room in the front pouch and even though it states a "contour pouch that boosts frontal profile" I'm afraid it actually does the opposite!
Now I suppose you could argue that these are made for support at a gym and yes, then maybe they'd be great … it's just such a shame because they really are a great looking brief and are so comfy, other than at the front, which is pretty important.
A 'Brief' summary ...
In conclusion I will add that I have worn these briefs for a couple of days and at times I did forget I had them on, which is a good sign, but overall everything does get very squashed up front.
Bunker … please look at these and make some more room in the front pouch and you'll have another pair of seriously great briefs as the back is absolutely superb and gives the wearer a seriously GREAT profile.
If you revisit the pouch and add more room, then along with the "Take Out" brief, i'll be placing an order very soon ;0)
