From late September, 2(x)ist underwear release their latest collection, Splash, which is inspired by the nostalgic look of 1980s denim and abstract expressionism created by famous artist Jackson Pollack.
“The collection is based on the look of paint splatter and denim,” says Jason Scarlatti, vice president of design and communication for 2xist underwear. “We went with white, black and hot pink to contrast the vivid look of the paint splatter.”
The 2xist underwear’s SPLASH collection recreates the look of denim with an all-modern style. The microfiber waistband showcases the brand’s block logo on the front center and randomly splattered with the appearance of brightly colored paint. 2xist underwear continues the recent trend of men’s underwear brands reproducing specific features of denim.
Spanish model Miguel Iglesias fronts the autumn/winter 2012 advertising campaign of underwear label 2(x)ist. Sporting the latest offering of the brand, the model delivers relaxed images, posing in colourful briefs and boxer shorts that emphasise his chiseled figure. Known for its cutting-edge fashion, contoured shapes and superior comfort, 2(x)ist creates fashion-forward designs to fit mens lives.
Made from 90% cotton and 10% spandex, the collection’s cotton spandex body offers a perfectly engineered fit and the contour pouch provides support, boost and comfort. What’s more, the rise of the hip brief sits at the hip and is offered in S-XL.
