You either love 'em or hate 'em!
As I've said before in my 'Underwear of the day Blog', I've gotta say … I love 'em. Personally I think they epitomise the 'very' definition of a man … a little strong maybe for some peoples views on Y-Fronts but that's how I see them. When I see a guy wearing Y-Fronts, I think the complete opposite of what most blokes think, which is probably, 'Wimp' or 'Geek' or anything that is insulting. But nope, not me lol.
Y-Fronts used to be every where when I was younger, nearly everyone owned a pair, whether they were true Jockey's or cheaper versions from M&S, BHS or even C&A, (stores we have over here in the UK, although C&A is sadly no longer around). The highlight would be the communal changing rooms at a swimming baths, which again SADLY have all disappeared over here. I would so look forward to swimming at our local public pool on a Saturday morning and take far longer than was needed to change just to marvel at the delights of the guys in their underwear! The majority back then would be in briefs, with the odd few in Boxer Shorts and other than the ordinary bikini briefs, the sort you'd buy in value packs of three, most would be wearing Y-Fronts. Some in standard white, rarely in black but mostly in bright colours and patterns, I was in 'Wonderland', lol
When I say i love Y-Fronts, I am referring to the normal looking ones, not the massive tummy hugging ones ….
Oh and my favourites have to be the ones with the even smaller sides than normal think they were referred to as Sports Jockey, but I may be wrong. Maybe some one can let me know :0)
I only have 2 pairs of the Sports version, but the better half has a few more … unfortunately Jockey don't seem to make them any more or they are only available outside of the UK. Either way, what is it with Jockey, some of their better styles are only available in one country or another and not world wide… come on Jockey, YOU were the original choice for Mens underwear NOT Calvin Klein or anyone else … get back up there and compete with the funky styles. I'm even seeing a style that looks one of best you've released, but can we get hold of them here in the UK, NO! Instead we have to pay probably over the odds on eBay :0( They are called J • Y-Fronts …. if anyone out there see's them in the UK anywhere, again … please let me know!
